Hello there! My name is Keelee Martin. I was born in Kona, Hawaii and am still here. I am a Junior in High School, and I'm absolutely fascinated with Photography! I took a photography class last year and it just sparked it all. My favorite pictures to shoot are probably landscapes, and when my kitties are cooperating I like to shoot them too. I just love to come home and upload my photos of flowers I shot with a macro setting and it just lights up my screen. Living in Hawaii, there are endless beautiful sunsets, (I'm still trying to capture a good shot of a green flash...) My dad bought me my first real camera two years ago. It's just a simple point and shoot, but it takes stunning photographs. (It's an Olympus FE-330.) My most recent purchase is my new obsession. I bought the Olympus Pen E-PL1. This October though, after having this camera about 3 and a half months, had a very close call. I have gone down to Waipio Valley with some friends and while crossing a river I dropped in the water and it landed on a rock. One expletive later, with hopeful eyes I picked it up. For three days it sat in a bowl of rice to dry the water, and now good as new! PHEW!! Wherever I go I have to have my cameras, and I really try to get shots that are in a creative and new way. My most favorite photographer would be Peter Lik, (Seriously, check him out!) Peter Lik's Landscapes take my breath away, and I hope to accomplish that one day.
